This week sees new sustainable brands come to the forefront with the launches of 4U by Tia and Prof. Dr. Volker Steinkraus. Nailtopia teams up with Disney for a fun collaboration of colorful nail lacquers. Meanwhile in the scented realms, Maison Margiela is getting ready for Valentine’s Day by extending its successful Replica collection to include the new On A Date scent.RETAILSinger-songwriter John Legend’s skincare brand Loved01 debuted in CVS, with a Walmart launch planned for March. The range of six products formulated with dermatologist Naana Boakye is designed for all skin types, is priced between $10-$15, and will be available in store and online.Following an exclusive Sephora launch in 2021 and recent exit from the retailer, Selfless by Hyram finds a new home at Target. The brand confirmed to Glossy that it is “neither shuttering nor slowing down” but moving to Target with lower pricing. The band is available in-store and online with products priced between $13-$24.Pattern by Tracee Ellis Ross expands distribution into the department store channel with Macy’s. The launch represents a deeper commitment to the red-hot hair category by the retailer. The brand will be available in select doors and online.Dior Beauty debuted in Ulta Beauty, rolling out in 200 doors with an assortment of Gen Z favorites focused on lip and color cosmetics. The products are merchandised separately from Dior fragrances that are already available at the retailer. An expanded collection of Dior Beauty will also be available online.Ariana Grande’s DTC beauty line R.E.M. Beauty, which launched in the fall of 2021, expands its global retail footprint.
